The Academia Belgica, Center for History, Arts and Sciences in Rome, has opened two calls for applications for research fellowships :
- Stipendia Academiae Belgicae (One- to three-month research fellowships) : With the support of the Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (FWO) and the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, the Academia Belgica awards annual research fellowships for stays of one to three months at the Academia Belgica in Rome, to researchers working primarily in the fields of historical sciences, art history, architectural history and literature.
- AB-FWO & AB-FNRS research fellowships (six-month post-doctoral research grants) : Thanks to the support of the FWO and FNRS, the Academia Belgica awards two research felllowships each year for a six-month stay at the Academia Belgica in Rome, to post-doctoral researchers working primarily in the fields of historical science, art history, architectural history and literature.
Applications for both calls must be submitted by September 20, 2023 at the latest.
