Thanks to the support of McKinsey & Company, the FNRS will grant, in 2026, the McKinsey & Company Scientific Award to a researcher who can demonstrate the societal and economic relevance OR the practical applicability of his/her doctoral thesis.
Main features

The doctoral thesis must pertain to one of the following fields:

Exact sciences

Applied sciences

Social, Economic or management sciences

Biomedical sciences
-
Amount : 5.000 € for personal use.
Eligible applicants

The PhD thesis must have been publicly defended in 2025 in a university of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels or the Royal Military Academy.

Candidates must be affiliated to a recognized university (within or outside the Federation Wallonia-Brussels) at the deadline of the call.

The thesis may not have been previously rewarded, except by an honorary Award.

McKinsey & Company staff are not eligible to the Award.
