Organised jointly by the Fund for Scientific Research – FNRS (F.R.S.-FNRS) and the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO).
The European Weave initiative (https://weave-research.net/) was launched in December 2020 by European funding bodies with the aim of supporting excellent cross-border collaborative research projects. By submitting proposals to a single evaluation process, Weave seeks to simplify the submission and selection procedures for collaborative research proposals involving researchers from up to three European countries or regions.
The information session aims to address the following questions:
What is Weave and how does it work in practice? How can Weave facilitate scientific collaboration between researchers from the Wallonia–Brussels Federation and Flanders? What other bilateral and trilateral collaborations are possible within the Weave framework? What are the conditions, procedures and deadlines to be respected?

We invite you to the virtual information session that will take place on 23 February 2026 starting at 2:00 p.m. (CET), during which the FWO and the F.R.S.-FNRS will present the collaboration opportunities within the Weave initiative and answer your questions during a Q&A session.
