Eligibility:
Consult the regulations for a scientific meeting abroad and a stay abroad before submitting your candidature.
Submission deadline:
Any request for a scientific meeting / stay abroad IN Europe must be submitted at least two months before the start of the scientific meeting / intended stay.
Any request for a scientific meeting / stay abroad OUTSIDE Europe must be submitted at least three months before the start of the scientific meeting / intended stay.
Certain parts of your application file may be submitted after validation of the request on e-space (see annexes required below)
How to submit a request :
Submission of the electronic form using the e-space platform only:

- Select “Credit for a stay or to participate in a scientific meeting abroad”
- No paper forms or emails will be accepted.
Content:
Your request must consist of the following documents:
- An electronic form
- Required attachments:
- Presence at a scientific meeting: required attachments (only in FR)
- Making a stay abroad: required attachments (only in FR)
- Participation in a workshop or summer course: required attachments (only in FR)
The reasoned opinion of your promoter or head of department must be filed according to the following model (only in FR) and uploaded to your electronic form.
Funding:
Only air/train costs from the departure point in Belgium to the airport or train station of the country of destination where the meeting/stay is scheduled will be taken into account; on-site travel expenses will not be covered except as part of a stay (per diem package).
If travelling by car, reimbursement is based on the kilometre rate of your institution and the number of kilometres between the departure point in Belgium and the point of arrival at the place of the meeting/stay (hotel, accommodation); any vignettes and tolls should be added.
Validation:
After validation, you will automatically receive an e-mail confirming submission of your request (check your spam box if necessary).
