Two FNRS Postdoctoral researchers among the ERC Starting Grant 2026 laureates !
The European Research Council (ERC) has announced the winners of its latest Starting Grant competition. The funding, worth €705 million in total, will go to 421 early-career researchers across Europe.
Among the grant recipients:
Shetye Shreeya, FNRS Postodoctoral researcher, ULB, for her project “Magnetism, Evolution, and Rotation in Late-stage Stellar Nucleosynthesis”
and
Arthur Ghins, FNRS Postodoctoral researcher, ULB, for his project “Democracy and Propaganda in the History of Political Thought”

The grants will help researchers develop ambitious ideas, build their own teams and establish their independence at a pivotal stage in their careers.
