Ils se confient sur leur travail, leurs défis, leurs ambitions. Deux saisons sont désormais disponibles sur notre chaîne!
First to start for the 2nd season: Nicolas Lanthier clinical Researcher FNRS at Saint-Luc University Clinics, UCLouvain. He has one foot in fundamental research, the other with patients. He works on hepatic steatosis, also known as "fatty liver disease," which affects 20 to 30% of the Belgian population. He aims to understand the mechanisms, identify at-risk patients, and develop a targeted treatment.
Simon Dellicour , Chercheur qualifié FNRS à l’ULB, se prête également au jeu. Ce "cartographe des virus" exploite "la très grande quantité d'informations génétiques contenues dans ces pathogènes pour répondre à des questions hors de portée des approches traditionnelles". Il explique également comment la crise du Covid 19 a bouleversé la manière de travailler des scientifiques et il revient sur sa dernière étude qui porte précisément sur les origines de l'épidémie.
