WEL-T Investigator Programme 2026 – call for proposals

The FRFS (Fund for Strategic Fundamental Research), one of the FNRS associated funds, and the WEL Research Institute are launching the third call for proposals for the WEL-T Investigator Programme. Funded by the Walloon Region, WEL-T (Walloon ExceLlence in Technology) supports strategic research programs in the fields of engineering, chemistry, and physics with a view to translating breakthrough discoveries into industrial applications aimed at sustainable transition.

The WEL-T Investigator programme is open to researchers at universities in the French Community of Belgium (Communauté française de Belgique - CFB), whether they are established researchers (Advanced Grants) or early-career researchers (Starting Grants).

Applications must be submitted by November 5th via the e-space platform they must be written in English only.
