Evaluation
In the context of transnational calls, evaluation is carried out by one or more joint evaluation committees. These committees are completely independent of the F.R.S.-FNRS and are composed of experts appointed by the agencies participating in the transnational call.
The criteria taken into account in the evaluation of these international proposals are outlined in the text describing the procedure of each call ("call text" or "call announcement"). These criteria may vary slightly depending on the context and domain(s) of each call. Nevertheless, in line with its general policy, the F.R.S.-FNRS only participates in calls whose primary evaluation criterion remains scientific excellence.
The schedule and organisation of evaluations are specific to each transnational call and are rigorously described in the text accompanying its publication ("call text" or "call announcement").
