- Thomas Schubert, Associate Senior Registrar at UCLouvain, Robin Evrard, FNRS Aspirant at UCLouvain and Pierre-Louis Docquier, Senior Registrar at UCLouvain have been awarded the Oswald Vander Veken Prize for their contribution to improving bone sarcoma surgery.
- The prize, worth €25,000, is awarded every three years for an original contribution to understanding tumours of the musculoskeletal system, their causes, prevention, diagnosis and/or treatment.
