The L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Programme (FWIS) allows the FNRS to award Additional Research Credits Grants for female postdoctoral researchers in the field of exact and natural sciences.

Main features

  • These Additional Research Credits follow the same regulation as the regular Research Credits attached to these FNRS mandates and can be used to cover the same eligible running costs during their timespan.
  • Amount: 20.000 €/grant.
  • Number of grants available/call: 3

Eligible criteria 

  • Be a female’s candidates to a FNRS’ Postdoctoral researcher fellowship (i.e chargée de recherche)
  • Having a research project in the fields of exact and natural sciences
  • If funded, participate to an award ceremony organized by L'Oréal Benelux and benefit from specific communication campaign

  • Call deadline: 2nd March 2026
  • Panel meeting: Spring 2026
  • Start of the Grant: 2nd October 2026
