Baillet Latour Medical Award 2027 : call for applications

On the initiative of the Baillet Latour Fund, the prestigious Baillet Latour Biomedical Award is awarded to independent investigators of any nationality in the early phase of their career to conduct biomedical research in Belgium and to consolidate their independent research team and program.

The objective of the Award is to allow an independent investigator of any nationality in the early phase of their career to conduct a research project in the field of "Infection & Immunity" and to consolidate their independent research team.

The research project must be conducted in Belgium and pertain to basic, translational or clinical biomedical research

The Award amounts to 1.000.000€ to conduct a research project over 5 years.

Applications, written in English, must be submitted by September 14^th, 2026, at the latest.
