FNRS adherence to the Charter on inclusive panels
In accordance with action 4.2.6 of Gender equality plan of the FNRS: Propose membership to the Charter for inclusive panels , the item was submitted to the agenda of the Board of Directors of the Fund on December 13, 2022. The latter approved adherence to the Charter. The panels designate here ‘ any assembly of 3 or more specialists meeting to instruct, advise and publicly discuss their point of view on their area of expertise. Our definition of “panel” also includes a series of conferences/events organized by a company throughout the year and involving only one expert at a time.’
By joining this initiative, created by experts s and experts in diversity of various Belgian organizations, the FNRS is particularly committed to ‘systematically pay attention to diversity in all panels’ organized, as well as ‘ avoid organizing exclusively male panels .’ Likewise, ‘the diversity of generations and origins’ speakers are sought, as far as possible.
