Call analyses and studies

The FNRS, via its “Analysis, evaluation & prospective” service, carries out a certain number of analyses, mainly statistical: call analyzes - following the closure of any call and ensuring that it runs smoothly; investigation reports with former FNRS agents and its associated funds; survey reports from experts who took part in the Fund's various evaluation missions; bibliometrics; reports on the state of gender equality,... 
The various analyzes are mainly intended for the management of the FNRS as well as its Board of Directors in order to assist them in their tasks and decision-making, but they may also be of interest to the scientific community and the general public. As a result, reports and analyzes relating to the Fund's activities will be regularly published on this page.

Established in 2018 with the support of the Government of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and integrated within the FNRS, the Observatory of Research and Scientific Careers aims to monitor and analyse the careers of researchers in the FWB. Through surveys and data cross-analysis, notably via the PhD Data initiative, it provides structured insights into PhD career paths.
