Le service public fédéral Santé publique, Sécurité de la Chaîne alimentaire et Environnement (SPF Santé publique) accorde des subsides à la recherche scientifique en tant que support de la politique en matière de sécurité alimentaire, et de protection de la santé animale et végétale. Tous les institutions de recherche belges peuvent s'inscrire à cet appel.

Les subsides peuvent être octroyés à des projets de recherche thématiques (RT : Targeted Research), libres (RF : Free Research) et internationaux (RI : International Research).

La date limite pour l’introduction des déclarations d’intention RT et RF et des « Expressions of Interest » RI est le jeudi 18 avril 2019 à midi précise.

Le CEPULB, Université Inter-Ages de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles, décernera pour la neuvième fois le Prix triennal Jean TEGHEM.

Ce Prix, créé en hommage à son Président fondateur, récompense une personne ou un collectif qui s’est distingué par une œuvre remarquable d’intérêt général dans le domaine de la vulgarisation scientifique et de l’éducation permanente.

Son montant est de 6 000 EUR.

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) instituted the “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award” in the year 2018 to recognize an Italian eminent scientist who, in performing his/her research abroad, has made a remarkable contribution to the advancement of science and technology, thus improving Italy’s S&T relations with foreign countries and with International Organizations.

The award will be assigned during the Italian Scientific Attachés Conference in Italy to be held in Rome in 2019. All fields of science and technology are included under this award. The award consists of an engraved medal and a certificate of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Mini-ATTRACT Phase 1 project, has been selected to be funded (20 MEuros) by the European Commission in the framework of the H2020 programme and will officially start on 1 August 2018. Resources will be made available, on a competitive basis, for projects aimed at developing novel concepts for the next generation of detection and imaging technologies, fostering collaboration between the research community and industry. A call for proposals will be launched on 1 August.
