Project duration and maximum budget

The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 200.000 EUR for a total period of three years. If the project involves the recruitment of a PhD student, the project duration of the F.R.S.-FNRS sub-project could be up to four years.

Eligibility rules

All eligibility rules and criteria can be found in the PINT-MULTI regulations. This call is NOT co-funded by the European Commission (see article III.6).

Forms to be submitted

Applicants to F.R.S.-FNRS funding must provide basic administrative data by submitting an administrative application on e-space within 5 working days after the general deadline of the JPND call to be eligible. Please select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application. Proposals invited to the second stage will be able to complete the pre-proposal form and provide information for the full proposal upon validation by the F.R.S.-FNRS.

Non-permissible costs

“Overhead” is not an eligible cost. If the project is selected for funding, these costs will be subject to a separate agreement between the institution of the beneficiary and the F.R.S.-FNRS.

Financement de projets en sciences humaines et sociales ayant des impacts sociétaux potentiels 

WelCHANGE FNRS est un programme de financement de projets de recherche 

1. portés par une promotrice principale ou un promoteur principal relevant des Sciences Humaines et Sociales,
2. avec des impacts sociétaux potentiels. 

Ces projets, qui peuvent être mono- ou pluri-universitaires, doivent être portés par une promotrice principale ou un promoteur principal en SHS, en collaboration possible avec des co-promotrices et co-promoteurs en SVS ou SEN. 

En pratique, le programme WelCHANGE FNRS offre un soutien financier sur 4 ans, incluant des frais de fonctionnement, de personnel et d’équipement.

Le Fonds de la Recherche en Art (FRArt) permet de financer des projets de recherche en art menés par des artistes-chercheurs/chercheuses à titre individuel ou collectif, en dehors de tout doctorat et de financement de production artistique. Ces projets sont validés par une ou plusieurs Écoles Supérieures des Arts (ESA).

Instrument de financement :

• Projet de recherche FRArt (PDR-FRArt)

Dans le cadre d’un PDR-FRArt, les frais éligibles sont de 3 types : personnel, fonctionnement et équipement.

Le PDR-FRArt est d’une durée de 9 à 24 mois et permet de solliciter un financement de 50.000,- € maximum.

Statut fiscal du subside PDR-FRArt : la subvention du FRArt peut bénéficier d’une exonération fiscale étant donné que le projet qui sera octroyé aura été évalué sur base du mérite et récompense un mérite exceptionnel. Cette exonération fiscale relève de la responsabilité des auteur·e·s.

Règlements & Guides

Les propositions de projet ERC Proof of Concept (POC) porteuses d'un Seal of Excellence et soumises avec une institution universitaire de la Communauté française de Belgique comme Host Institution sont susceptibles d'être financées par notre Fonds via l’instrument FNRS POC.
