Le Conseil d’Administration du F.R.S.-FNRS, en sa séance du 09/12/2025, a adopté une nouvelle mesure visant à renforcer la visibilité des travaux soutenus par le Fonds.

En complément de l’obligation déjà en vigueur de mentionner le F.R.S.-FNRS dans toute publication issue d’un financement du Fonds, il sera désormais obligatoire d’indiquer le F.R.S.-FNRS comme organisme subsidiant lors de l’encodage de ces publications dans un dépôt institutionnel.

Dans ce cadre, des instructions claires pour la reconnaissance du soutien financier du F.R.S.-FNRS sont désormais disponibles sur le site du Fonds, sous la rubrique Politique scientifique.

Nous invitons l’ensemble des mandataires, ainsi que les boursières et boursiers FNRS, à se familiariser avec ces lignes directrices. Cette démarche est essentielle pour assurer la reconnaissance et la réputation du Fonds, et pour valoriser l’impact des travaux qu’il soutient.

The F.R.S.-FNRS Board of Trustees, at its meeting of 9 December 2025, adopted a new measure aimed at strengthening the visibility of the work supported by the Fund.

In addition to the existing requirement to mention the F.R.S.-FNRS in any publication resulting from funding provided by the Fund, it will now also be mandatory to indicate the F.R.S.-FNRS as the funding body when depositing such publications in an institutional repository.

In this context, clear instructions on how to acknowledge the financial support of the F.R.S.-FNRS are now available on the Fund’s website, under the Scientific Policy section.

We encourage all FNRS fellows and grantees to familiarize themselves with these guidelines. This practice is essential to ensure proper recognition and uphold the reputation of the Fund, while highlighting the impact of the research it supports.
