Are PhDs adequately prepared to enter the non-academic labour market? How can their knowledge and background be valorised? How can employers attract  and retain them?

The Observatory of Research and Scientific Careers-F.R.S.-FNRS and ECOOM-UGhent will address these questions on April 18 at the University Foundation. An opportunity for universities, the business world, political representatives, and researchers to get to know each other better and engage in dialogue on the topic of scientific careers and the job transition of doctorate holders.
