Communications at the F.R.S.-FNRS
In order to increase public interest
in research and to highlight the usefulness of science, the F.R.S.-FNRS is
developing a proactive communications policy with the press and the public through
press releases and conferences, fnrs.news and various event-related
publications.
The FNRS is also producing video content on its new website (FNRS.tv), including short interviews with current and former FNRS researchers, grant recipients and incentive grant recipients. The aim of the policy is not only to give a wider audience a better understanding of the goals and context of the research funded by the FNRS, but also to offer them the opportunity to get to know the researchers and their careers. The website and the interviews have already proven themselves to be a success, with statistics showing that at least 30 000 individual visitors have seen at least one video. This isn’t even counting the views on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Youtube). sociaux (Facebook, Twitter et Youtube).
