Pre-announcement of the next "Nature-based solutions" call of the "Biodiversa+" European biodiversity partnership

Biodiversa+ (European Biodiversity Partnership) will soon be opening a call for international research projects under the following theme:

Nature-based solutions for biodiversity, human well-being and transformative change - BiodivNBS

  • The call will officially open on 11 September 2023.
  • The deadline for applications is early November 2023.

You can register for an information webinar on this call on September 26 here.

The FNRS is participating in this call, which will therefore be open to the scientific community in the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

Opening of the bilateral call for mobility projects 2023 between FNRS and Poland (Polish Academy of Sciences - "PAS")

Within the framework of bilateral agreements, a call for projects is currently open with Poland ("PAS").

GreenEraHub 1st Call “Contributions towards a sustainable and resilient agri-food system” (2)

The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 300.000 EUR for a total period of 3 years.

 

Eligibility rules

All eligibility rules and criteria can be found in the PINT-MULTI regulations. This call is not co-funded (See article III.6)

Forms to be submitted

Applicants to F.R.S.-FNRS funding must submit an administrative application on e-space within 5 working days after the general deadline of the GreenEraHub call to be eligible. Please select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application.

Non-permissible costs

“Overhead” is not an eligible cost. If the project is selected for funding, these costs will be subject to a separate agreement between the institution of the beneficiary and the F.R.S.-FNRS.

Transcan JTC 2023, "Translational research on cancer epigenetics"

Belgium (F.R.S.-FNRS) - Fédération Wallonie - Bruxelles eligibility criteria

Deadline for submission of proposals (centralized submission):

Network: 21 July 2023, 12:00 CET

Deadline for e-space submission (F.R.S.-FNRS obligation): 28 July 2023, 14:00 CET

 

Project duration

The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 200.000 EUR for a total period of three years. If the project involves the recruitment of a PhD student, the project duration of the F.R.S.-FNRS sub-project could be up to four years.

Eligibility rules

All eligibility rules and criteria can be found in the PINT-MULTI regulations. This call is NOT co-funded (See article III.6). 

Forms to be submitted

Applicants to F.R.S.-FNRS funding must provide basic administrative data by submitting an administrative application on e-space within 5 working days after the general deadline of the Transcan call to be eligible. Please select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application. Proposals invited to the second stage will be able to complete the pre-proposal form and provide information for the full proposal upon validation by the F.R.S.-FNRS.

Non-permissible costs

M-ERA.NET Call 2023 “Transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation including materials for batteries and low carbon energy technologies”

Deadline for submission of pre-proposals (centralized submission): 16 May 2023, 12:00 CET.

Deadline for e-space submission (F.R.S.-FNRS obligation): 23 May 2023, 14:00 CET
