Publication of the results from the 2025 bilateral call for mobility projects with the ‘PAS’ (Poland)

The Fund for Scientific Research – FNRS (F.R.S.-FNRS), in partnership with "The Polish Academy of Sciences - PAS"  (Poland), is pleased to announce the results of the call launched in June 2025 under the "PINT-BILAT-M" instrument (bilateral research mobility projects). Three projects were submitted to scientific evaluation procedures by the F.R.S.-FNRS and the "PAS" (Poland), and the agencies jointly decided to select two projects for funding, the details of which are provided in the table below. Each team funded by the F.R.S.-FNRS will receive a maximum amount of  €15,000 over a two-year period to finance, among other things, travel, scientific workshops/conferences, and, where applicable, operating costs.

The projects will be carried out in collaboration with Polish teams, which will in turn be funded by the "PAS" (Poland).

JTC 2026 Call 2 : Biological, social and environmental factors that impact the trajectory of brain health across the lifespan – in the field of neurodegeneration

Project duration and maximum budget

The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 300.000 EUR for a total period of 3 years.

Eligibility rules

All eligibility rules and criteria can be found in the PINT-MULTI regulations. This call is cofunded by the European Commission.

Forms to be submitted

Applicants to F.R.S.-FNRS funding must submit an administrative application on e-space within 5 working days after the general deadline of the EP BrainHealth call to be eligible. Please select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application. 

Admitted costs

Please note that personnel costs have an annual average cap of 80,000 euros for this call. For the administrative application on e-space, costs such as “Consumables”, “Travel”, and “Other” should all be included in the “operating expenses” category in the form.

For “overhead” costs:

  • Operating expenses: up to 1% within the granted budget. This percentage should be included in the requested operating budget.
  • Personnel: up to 2% outside of the granted budget. This percentage will be paid upon reimbursement of expenses to institutions by the F.R.S.-FNRS.

The Fund for Scientific Research – FNRS (F.R.S.-FNRS), in partnership with "the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science - JSPS (Japan)", is pleased to announce the results of the call launched in June 2025 under the “PINT-BILAT-M” instrument (bilateral research mobility projects). Four applications were submitted to scientific evaluation procedures by the F.R.S.-FNRS and by the (JSPS) (Japan), and the agencies jointly selected one project for funding. You will find details of this project in the table below. The Belgian team funded by the F.R.S.-FNRS will receive a maximum amount of €15,000 over a two-year period to finance, among other things, travel, scientific workshops/conferences, and, where applicable, operating costs. The projects will be carried out in collaboration with a Japan team, which will be funded by the JSPS » (Japon).
