Project duration and maximum budget

The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 200.000 EUR for a total period of 3 years.

Eligibility rules

All eligibility rules and criteria can be found in the PINT-MULTI regulationsThis call is not co-funded by the European Commission (see article III.6).

Forms to be submitted

Applicants to F.R.S.-FNRS funding must submit an administrative application on e-space within 5 working days after the general deadline of the JPND call to be eligiblePlease select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application. 

Admitted costs

Please note that personnel costs (Article III.6) have an annual average cap of 50,000 euros for this call. For the administrative application on e-space, costs such as “Consumables”, “Travel”, and “Other” should all be included in the “operating expenses” category in the form.

For “overhead” costs:

Operating expenses: up to 1% within the granted budget. This percentage should be included in the requested operating budget.

Personnel: up to 2% outside of the granted budget. This percentage will be paid upon reimbursement of expenses to institutions by the F.R.S.-FNRS.

Results of the 2024 bilateral call for projects between the FNRS and the « JSPS » (Japan)

Two projects were selected following the bilateral call for mobility between the FNRS and The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science - JSPS » (Japon) :

MARIS Ioana Codrina / FUJII Toshihiro, Université Libre de Bruxelles / Osaka Metropolitan University, Developments of a two-layer water- Cherenkov detector for Probing Extreme PeVatron Sources (PEPS).

Opening of the call EP PerMed - JTC2025 - Pharmacogenomic Strategies for Personalised Medicine (PGxPM2025)

The funding organisations of the PerMed EP have agreed to launch the Joint Transnational Call 2025 (JTC2025), co-funded by the EU, to fund innovative multinational research projects in personalised medicine (PM), which should bring together academic, clinical/public health and private research teams, thereby strengthening Europe's competitiveness in this field.
