Opening of the bilateral call for mobility projects 2022 between the F.R.S.-FNRS and the "MOST" (Taiwan) and information/promotion session organized jointly on 18/02/2022

In the framework of the bilateral agreements, a call for projects is opened this January 11, 2022 with the "MOST" (Taiwan).

Please note that in order to promote this bilateral call 2022, as well as the existing collaboration between the F.R.S.-FNRS and the "MOST", the F.R.S. FNRS and "MOST", an online information/promotion session will be held jointly on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 09:30 (Belgian time) and in parallel at 16:30 (Taipei time), with as guest Professor Damien Debecker (UCLouvain) and his Taiwanese counterpart Professor Yu-Chuan Lin (National Cheng Kung University), whose project entitled "Direct Hydrogenation of Adipic Acid to 1,6-Hexandiol via Phyllosilicate-derived Catalysts with Controlled Hydrophobicities" has been selected by both organizations in the 2020 call for projects.

EUI Doctoral Award - « European University Institute - EUI »

The European University Institute has opened its annual call for doctoral scholarships for the period 2022 - 2023 in the following four disciplines: History and Civilization, Economic Sciences, Legal Sciences and Political and Social Sciences. Submission is made directly on the EUI website until January 31, 2022. Eligible candidates for the F.R.S.-FNRS must respect the eligibility rules described in the « European University Institute - EU » regulations.

Call for propositions « FY2022 - JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan (Standard)

JSPS postdoctoral fellowship for foreign researchers (OUT)

Persons concerned: highly qualified post-doctoral researchers of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation
Purpose: under the scientific agreement concluded between the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique - FNRS and the JSPS (Japan), the JSPS awards grants for a period of 1 to 2 years for research activities under the guidance of a Japanese coordinator.

South East Asia - EU Call 2021 on “ Sustainable Food Production and Climate Change: Resilience & Adaptation”

Deadline for submission of full proposals (centralized submission): October 15, 2021, 12:00 CET
Deadline for e-space submission (F.R.S.-FNRS obligation): 22 October 2021, 14:00 CET

PROJECT DURATION

The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 100.000 EUR for a total period of three years.The maximum amount of funding does not allow to fund a PhD student for 4 years – therefore alternative funding for PhD completion should be considered.

ELIGIBILITY RULES

All eligibility rules and criteria can be found in the PINT-MULTI regulations.This call is NOT co-funded by the European Commission (see article III.3).

FORMS TO BE SUBMITTED

Applicants must provide basic administrative data by submitting an administrative application on e-space within 5 working days after the general deadline of the South East Asia - EU Call 2021 to be eligible. Please select the “PINT-MULTI” funding instrument when creating the administrative application. Proposals invited to the second stage will be able to complete the pre-proposal form and provide information for the full proposal upon validation by the F.R.S.-FNRS.

NON-PERMISSIBLE COSTS

“Overhead” is not an eligible cost. If the project is selected for funding, these costs will be subject to a separate agreement between the institution of the beneficiary and the F.R.S.-FNRS.
